If he is specifically speaking of Hello Saints, then he would have said Hello Saints specifically.
He is saying that there are counterfeit representations and to be on the lookout and be aware.
He could be talking about all the rest of Christianity speaking against the restored gospel and not just Hello Saints.

DAVID'S CLARIFICATION: I don't think our wonderful leaders ever....name specific people that they "warn against" in Conference talks. I have never heard it done. But they did describe a very specific set of parameters for the person or kind of persons they are warning against listening to; and those parameters, in my view, very specifically fit Jeff McCullough of Hello Saints. That doesn't mean he is the only one that the parameters fit....but he is the most prominent non-LDS christian, that has gathered a large following from the Saints....that those parameters fit, that I am aware of.
Elder Soares and Elder Holmes, in essence...described a "shoe"...and they rely on sincere Saints...to carefully consider, who they have perhaps let into their lives and heart, and gotten in the habit of giving their time and attention to...that this shoe fits.
This is in line with how they always teach us, it seems to me...
They don't "tell us what to do". No, they give us principles and parameters to discern by...and trust us to exercise prayer and wisdom in applying those principles and parameters.
To me...Jeff perfectly fits the "fools gold slipper" that Elder Soares and Holmes have pointedly & precisely given us....which is WHY I feel compelled to lift up my voice about this.
They are NOT going to say in Conference, "Saints of God, DO NOT LISTEN to Hello Saints and Jeff!" That is totally not what they do. They give us principles by which to judge such things...and trust us to apply them.
